For the past month, I've been trying to think of a new way to spread some holiday cheer, and a few days ago I had a crazy idea. I decided to pick random people from the phone book and send them cards.

I thought about the idea for a while, going back and forth between receivers of the cards either appreciating it or thinking it was strange.

Finally, this morning, I picked five people at random from the White Pages of the phone book, wrote messages in the cards, and sent them. I hope the cards bring smiles to the faces of the people I sent them to.

Who knows? Maybe they'll pick up their phone books and do the same thing.
